CHAPEL

TKC Day Nursery Chapel is set in a spacious grade II listed Victorian house, on a quiet residential road in the heart of Chapel en le Frith.  We offer a home-from-home learning environment.  Our child-led active learning environment stimulates little imaginations.  Extensive play resources are available to excite and inspire children to play and learn together or independently.

At Chapel, we spend much of our time outdoors, going to the local park or walking in the Derbyshire countryside.  Our outdoor space is divided into play areas where the children can play with age-appropriate toys. The children benefit from the sand and water area, large play equipment, mud kitchen, graffiti boards, along with pedalling toys on the Astro turf all-weather play surface. For our under twos, TKC have a dedicated outdoor play area with a soft surface and age-appropriate toys. Our kitchen garden offers children a wonderful opportunity to experience nature firsthand – from planting seeds and watching them grow; to harvesting the produce for lunch or simply learning about the nearby flora and fauna that contribute to the natural world.

Learning at TKC Chapel is fun, challenging, rewarding and effective.  Our practitioners use creative approaches to develop key skills. Focusing on numeracy, literacy, creative art, or fine motor skills, so the children transition swiftly towards school readiness. Parent Chats, TKC News and daily updates from their Key Person our parent/carers are way in which we engage parents in their child’s day. Take a look at what we have been up too.

Fresh ingredients are used to prepare interesting meals for the children.  TKC menus, approved by a registered dietician, use fresh ingredients to prepare interesting meals for the children. The children get the opportunity to eat the most amazing foods and flavours from around the world.
