POLICIES

STATUTORY GUIDANCE

The Early Years Foundation Stage and other legislative frameworks require childcare providers to have policies and procedures in place to safeguard children and adults and to ensure the effective running of the setting. It is essential that settings like TKC, use these as guidance only and adapt accordingly to meet the needs of their setting.

At TKC, we recognise the importance of adhering to clear and effective nursery policies and procedures. We understand that to keep children safe in our care and to provide quality childcare, we must review how we meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage in our nurseries.

Guidance governing Early Years Providers can be found on the Ofsted and the Department of Education webpages. Below are links to some of the key documents.

TKC POLICIES

Our policies and procedures are adapted in accordance with the guidance above, practice and in many cases with input from parent/carers and through working with external agencies.  Below are some a few TKC policies which you may require.

A file of all TKC Nursery Policies and Procedures can be found in the Nursery office.
